emScrape Pro ~ (Email Extractor & Scraper) is committed to protecting your privacy. The single purpose of emScrape Pro is to extract and collect email addresses from webpage text and HTML links on user command to assist with contact lead generation and outreach.

2. Information Collection and Use

emScrape Pro does not collect, store, or transmit any Personally Identifiable Information (PII), browsing history, or analytical data to remote servers.

• Scraped Email Addresses: Temporarily parsed from webpage DOM text when you run scraping or auto-surfing. Stored exclusively in your browser's chrome.storage.local.
• User Preferences: Your domain filter preferences and maximum pages settings are stored locally in your browser.
• No Account Required: You do not need to register an account or provide any personal details to use the extension.

3. Chrome Permissions Disclosure

To perform its single core function, emScrape Pro requests the following Chrome permissions:

Permission	Purpose & Justification
activeTab	Accesses the current active tab when you click the extension popup to parse email addresses on demand.
scripting	Injects the extraction script to parse webpage HTML for email patterns and pagination links.
storage	Saves your scraped emails, domain filter preferences, and surfer settings locally on your device.
tabs	Monitors tab status changes to coordinate automated multi-page surfing across search result pages.
<all_urls>	Allows the email scraper to operate on any website or directory specified by the user.

4. Data Sharing and Transfer

We do not sell, rent, trade, or transfer any data collected by the extension to any third parties. All scraped data remains inside your browser sandbox under your complete control.

5. User Control & Data Retention

You have full control over all data stored by emScrape Pro:

• You can copy, export (CSV/TXT), or clear all collected emails at any time directly from the extension UI.
• Uninstalling the extension instantly and permanently deletes all stored data from your browser's local storage.
